Axis Bank offers loans to a variety of individuals. Home loan eligibility is determined by various factors such as income, employment status, tenure and so on. Our aim is to provide affordable housing loans to as many individuals and families as possible.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Salaried Individuals

  • Individuals in permanent service in the Government or reputed companies meet Axis Bank’s Home Loan eligibility criteria
  • Applicants should be above 24 years of age at the time of loan commencement and up to the age of 60 or superannuation, whichever is earlier at the time of loan maturity.

Professionals

  • Professionals (i.e., doctors, engineers, dentists, architects, chartered accountants, cost accountants, company secretary, and management consultants only) can apply.
  • Applicants above 24 years of age at the time of loan commencement and up to 65 years or less at the time of loan maturity meet our housing loan criteria.

Self Employed Individuals

  • Any individual filing income tax returns can apply
  • Applicants should be above 24 years of age at the time of loan commencement and up to 65 years or less at the time of loan maturity

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

  • Filled Application Form
  • Proof of Identity and Address

Proof of income-

  • Salaried- Latest 3 Months salary slip showing all deductions and Form 16
  • Self Employed- IT returns for the last 2 years and computation of income for the last 2 years certified by a CA
  • Last 6 months Bank statement or Pass Book where salary or income is credited

DO'S

  • Make your mortgage or rent payments on time
  • Stay current on all existing accounts
  • Continue to work for the same employer
  • Continue living at your current residence
  • Keep credit card balances at or below 40% of credit limits
  • Call us before doing anything regarding your employment, credit cards or assets.

DON'T

  • Don’t make a major purchase (car, boat, etc.)
  • Don’t apply for new credit or loans of any kind
  • Don’t change bank accounts or banks unless advised
  • Don’t consolidate your debt into fewer accounts
  • Don’t Deposit cash or non-traceable funds
  • Don’t close credit card accounts
  • Don’t borrow money
  • Don’t transfer checking or savings balances from one account to another
  • Do not give notice to your landlord before consulting with your loan officer
